Metro Express was formed in 1988 by its current managing director, Martin Overman, as an independently owned and operated company specialising in providing local transport services in metropolitan centres throughout the east coast of Australia.

Our small but enthusiastic team strives for professional excellence in the provision of services.

The extensive fleet of Metro Express ranges from 1 tonne capacity through to semi-trailers, crane trucks and other specialised vehicles. 

The administration of Metro Express is purposely easy to understand and yet detailed enough to make reconciling accounts almost a pleasure.

The Metro Express client list covers a diverse cross section of Australian Industry. Daily operations include dedicated and casual hire of vehicles.

Services range from the distribution of pallets, parcels and engineered goods, to the use of crane trucks and specialised vehicles for site placements and difficult loads. Wide and extra long loads are also catered for.
